Issues installing Oracle products on Windows 7!

Sorry guys! we were silent for a long time. Our team was too busty or enjoying annual breaks.
We noticed recent comments complaining about failing to install oracle database and developer suits.
Please please, read the enitre post thoroughly, then try to install the product as suggested with the post.
No Oracle proudcts were certified for Windows 7 when we posted the work arounds. These are just work arounds and you would hit the “jackpot” only if you would follow the post as it is!

    I try to install Oracle 10g database and also developer suite on my laptop (DELL INSPIRON 1464 OS : windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit) but it is not installed. Database 10g can be installed by compatible mode XP but developer suite can not. It is very difficult for me, I never thought Micro soft not support Oracle product. If there is any way out,please inform me.

      Please follow this link and make sure you read all instructions and comments. It is important to read the comments as well especially when readers like Farhan has issues which were not included with our post! Hope this time you would able to install Oracle developer successfully.

    Hi,
    I have installed Oracle 10g_R2_Win.32bit in windows7. Also i have changed the properties of the set-up back into windows xp-pack-2. but now i couldn’t run the jazen file. Pls can you give a solution for this.
